Daniel “Zhimpa” Moreno is a Peruvian Tattoo Artist based in New York with over 19 years of experience in the tattoo industry. He got his start studying at the school of Bellas Artes in Perú with the intent of developing his skills in painting; however, the allure of creating beautiful pieces of art customized and immortalized for his clients became his focus. After single-handedly opening his first shop, the trials of being a new artist bloomed into a unique style that became quite popular. The quest to immerse himself in and evolve as an artist lead Zhimpa to local conventions that developed both his method as well as introduce him to a group of artists that would join him at Zhimpa Tattoos.
