The Ultimate has been in operation, as a tattoo & piercing studio, since 2002. Throughout its life, the studio has employed some of the Rochester area’s top tattoo artists and piercers. The studio is owned by Elizabeth Wise, RN, the studio’s head piercer whose experience as a registered nurse, ensures that every procedure, whether it be piercing, or tattooing is done in the cleanest and safest manner, putting the client’s health at the forefront. ​The tattoo artists of the studio are headed up by veteran tattooist, Shawn Conn. Shawn has been tattooing since 1991 and all of the talented artists employed at The Ultimate, are trained or vetted by him.
