Established in 1995 by artist David Dettloff, The Ink Lab has been a fixture in Uptown Minneapolis for nearly 30 years. Offering tattoos and piercings, we provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment. Our artists specialize in one of a kind, custom tattoos in a range of styles such as: photo realism, portraits, anime, American traditional, illustrative, color, black and grey, cover ups, scar cover ups, and we can re-work and touch up your existing tattoos as well, and more. Our areas are semi-private and can be closed off by curtains, for when full privacy is needed. We usually don't have time for walk-ins, but will be happy to do them if the time is open, and free consultations are always available. Gift cards are available!!
