The name Skeleton Bay was one of the original nicknames of the notoriously famous prisons in California--Pelican Bay. Where men lived in torturous environments, lack of humanity and Draconian practices. A place that sadly broke many of those that resided there behind it's walls and electrified fences. For many the only path to keeping one's sanity was creating your own reality. Reading, writing, exercise and of course art. Some of the greatest artist I had the pleasure of coming across was behind those walls. Like many artist these days I began my tattoo career in prison and through the years come to master my craft in many mediums.
