Sacramento Tattoo and Piercing is the oldest tattoo shop in Sacramento. Opened in 1991 it was acquired 1998 by Dave O’Connor and Eric Hogan; Dave became sole owner in 2002. After Dave's death in 2020, long-time tattoo artist Bill Lorenz took ownership. Sacramento Tattoo is a traditional street shop, open to walk-ins for flash or custom work. Everyone in the shop is kind, friendly and willing to talk to people just toying with the idea of getting their first tattoo/piercing, as well as the seasoned customer who wants to add to their collection of skin art. Located at 2722 X St, Sacramento CA 95818, between 27th and 28th streets, there is plenty of on-street parking. Due to Covid-19 concerns, please wear a mask and leave children at home.
